Three-in-one transmission service
The three companies that make up the Davall Group return to Southern Manufacturing for 2018. Each firm specialises in its own area of expertise, yet complementing the work of the other two to provide a complete transmission service, says the company.
Davall Gears is registered to AS9100 for design and manufacture of gear systems. It markets the Spiradrive, a high torque, low backlash, gear and gearbox system. It combines extensive knowledge of industry, with the use of modern technology to specialise in custom-made gearing. It provides design and manufacturing solutions to the many and varied power transmission and rotary motion problems posed by clients.
Davall DSG division specialises in the supply of standard, off-the-shelf power transmission product. These include spur (imperial and metric pitch), anti-backlash, helical, bevel (mitre, ratio, straight and spiral) gears and racks in both imperial and metric format, timing drives (classic, T/AT series, HTD, Powergrip GT and PolyChain), including belting and pulleys, universal joints (single, double and extending), flexible and rigid couplings, torque limiter (overload protection), gearboxes (worm and wheel, spur and helical) and component fixing bushes. All components are suitable for applications ranging from research and development projects to machine maintenance, for model makers to large OEMs.
Finally, Mollart Universal Joints is registered to AS9100 for the manufacture of rotary articulating joints, universal joints and related aerospace components, supplying into several major aircraft programmes.
