Swarf removal system from LNS Turbo
If there’s one thing every machine shop makes, it’s swarf. That’s why most visitors to Southern Manufacturing 2013 will be interested in the new swarf conveyor on the LNS Turbo stand. This incorporates self-filtration and offers reduced energy consumption.
The filtration system maximises coolant life which in turn reduces the frequency of coolant tank cleaning and the costs of disposal of contaminated coolant. A single variable speed drive powers the conveyor and the self cleaning function.
Also new at the show will be an air filtration system for the removal of coolant and cutting oil mist. It is designed to eliminate the mist, smoke and odours of both wet and dry machining. It can also be used on EDM machines.
Additionally, there will be a bar feeder designed for the automatic loading of short bars, the small foot print makes it an ideal solution where space is limited. All functions are displayed on and can be operated from the remote control.
