Stereo microscope includes HD camera
The Mantis ‘eyepiece-less’ stereo microscope from Vision Engineering now has an HD camera incorporated into the head. Engineers can benefit from the 3D optical image, and a high resolution camera for instant image capture. The integrated HD camera provides optical inspection and image capture seamlessly in seconds, says the company.
At Southern 2015, the company also demonstrated non-contact measurement systems from manual optical solutions, to fully automated CNC measuring machines.
There was also the new version of M3 three-axis measuring software, which includes a Runs Database, enabling engineers to keep a database of the dimensional measurements, allowing co-efficients of a part within a batch of components, to be compared and analysed.
