Sign and labelling on demand
The results of five years’ development and 40 years’ experience, the SMS R1 delivers a new dimension in productivity and performance in sign and labelling, claims Rebo Systems.
The ‘colour and cut’ sign and label machine, which will be demonstrated at Southern Manufacturing 2018, is suitable for low- to mid-range volume production. It can produce customised label shapes and sizes with up to nine colours on-demand and in-house.
No need to have rolls of die-cut labels, or expensive custom-made labels on a shelf, just make them when you need them, says the company.
For technical and electrical labelling, it offers cost savings and delivers any quantity, and will even mix varieties of labels in one run.
Ribbon saving, networking capabilities, on-board colour touchscreen, fully enclosed operation for dust-free production and a distinctive print driver are highlights of the systems which can be driven from the supplied Nice Label Pro or any of the popular design software available today.
Whether cable wraps, prototype labels, control panel labels and in sizes as small as 5.0mm, the machine will produce single labels and continuous sheets of labels all in multiple colours. The range of materials available includes 10 year outdoor vinyl, high performance polyester, high strength adhesives, high temperature, removable and replaceable materials.
