Production line springs into action
Bespoke springs and pressing for a range of industries from aerospace and construction, through to IT and medical are being highlighted by Southern Springs and Pressings at Southern 2017.
Using a variety of metals from stainless and carbon steels to nickel alloys, the design process can be complex; the latest design techniques and machinery are essential in producing a long-lasting product. The company has recently purchased a new de-burring machine to ensure high-value-added surface improvements and a quality finish.
It has also undergone a total refurbishment and upgrade of the inspection department and has installed a new power press production line to produce higher volumes of products at a more efficient pace.
