Precision bearings and encoders from Principle Engineering
Precision instruments need precision engineered bearings and encoders – both will be found on the Principle Engineering stand at Southern Manufacturing 2013. Some of the example applications on show will include a miniature gas turbine jet engine, the finest optical focus mechanisms, food processing machinery and production equipment, medical, dental and aero-space applications.
Ball bearing assemblies with a bore of just 1 mm and a 3 mm outside diameter are offered as standard, but such is the expertise available, that around 40% of the company’s output consists of custom-made specials – anything from a modified version of a standard product to a completely new design.
The same expertise extends to the optical encoder side of the business. Both incremental and absolute versions are available with solid shaft or through bore configurations. Wrexham-based Principle Engineering offers extremely rapid turnaround time, even for custom products.
