Muffett Gears showcases new capacity at Southern Manufacturing 2015
Tunbridge Wells based Muffett Gears showcased its latest £750k investment at Southern Manufacturing 2015. The firm provides high quality precision engineering and assembly services to a variety of industries, most notably medical technology, but also other sectors including electro-mechanical components, Oil & Gas and audio-visual satellite systems. Founded in 1920, Muffett Gears is now in its third generation as an engineering firm. Significant growth in 2014 has seen the company invest in advanced machinery and specialist measuring equipment, including the Zeiss Prismo 5 that is designed to measure all types of gears and is accurate to within one micron.
