Modular lift eliminates pipes and hoses
The highlight of the Roemheld stand at Southern Manufacturing 2014 will be the Modulog assembly table and lifting column. It is modular and incorporates a rotary unit with integral lead screw, which is patent pending. Air, oil and power signals are all routed through the element, making external pipework or hoses superfluous. This results in a reduction in set-up times, particularly for the manual assembly of prototypes and pre-production series but also in fixture construction, where different components are involved. The system simplifies assembly operations and can be adjusted to varying heights and to suit individual operators.
Visitors can also see the latest products in the Hilma five-axis vice range and the Stark Easy Click fast-closing, zero point mounting system, suitable for assembly, aerospace and automotive applications.
