Making a mark with Universal Marking Systems
Robust yet weighing just 3.2kg, the E-Mark part marker from Universal Marking Systems, showcased at Southern Manufacturing 2015, is fully programmable through the integrated controller and keyboard. It has an easy read, 320 x 240 pixel, colour screen to display alphanumeric characters, text on an angle and a radius, data matrix and logos.
The marking window measures 60 x 25mm and the marker offers a marking depth of up to 0.3mm, depending on the material.
Powered by an 18V Lithium Ion rechargeable battery, with up to four hours operating time, it has a 100Mb memory capacity and intuitive software, with the main functions accessible from the same menu.
There is a USB port to import and export files and a carry case for safe storage.
