IPC approves training for revised standards

Two leading standards for the electronics assembly industry have been revised and are both now available to revision F.

Art review edit_tmb IPC J-STD-001F, Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies is the standard for soldering processes and materials and IPC-A-610F, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies, is used to ensure electronics assemblies meet acceptance requirements.

The IPC has, once again, selected Southern Electronics exhibitor, Advanced Rework Technology, to present the European Beta classes to these revisions. Classes were attended by many master IPC trainers and certified IPC trainers allowing input and guidance into the programme curriculum.

Advanced Rework Technology runs training courses to IPC standards and is an IPC- authorised training centre, enabling it to offer training at both trainer and application specialist levels. It can also offer the IPC-A-620 Cable and Wire Harness Space application training course.

As well as IPC training, it offers specialised, bespoke, training in all aspects of PCB repair and rework.
