igus UK showcases range of new products at Southern Manufacturing 2014
Long-time supporter of Southern Manufacturing, igus UK, returns in 2014 with a incredible variety of products, including bearings, cables and energy chains.
Amongst the highlights will be a chance to see the company’s new “plug and play” readychain rack light. The reusable, modular and portable system is used for delivering and fitting pre-assembled harnessed energy chains directly to machines quickly and safely.
Maintenance-free and lubrication-free stock bar materials are designed for customised machining, and there are also new stock plates for glide rail design and prototype building, in the universal iglidur J and FDA approved iglidur A350 materials.
A range of Nema motor driven linear drive modules, drylin E, are quiet, weight saving and cost effective, says the company. Also available is an extended range of CFRIP chainflex flexible cable with integrated stripping cord, which saves the electrical engineer 50% of the time needed to strip cables. There will be live demonstrations of new products and line extensions.
