Fibre laser boosts sheet metal and component production
At Southern Manufacturing 2015, specialist in fine tolerance sheet metal and machined components, Falcon Precision will highlight its recent investment in a new fibre laser that has significantly increased manufacturing capability and production capacity.
The BySprint 3015 fibre laser is able to cut material up to 20mm thick. This allows the company to offer a fast turnaround laser profiling service in addition to supplying fully formed and fabricated sheet metal parts.
Managing director, David Ogden, commented: “The new laser has significantly improved our output. It has complemented our existing sheet metal and machining equipment and has given us the opportunity to expand our manufacturing capability. . . We are very excited about the future and are looking forward to developing the company further and exploring new markets.”
