Eclipse Magnetics launch Micromag HP50 at Southern Manufacturing 2013
Eclipse Magnetics, a company specialising in magnetic filtration devices, launched its Micromag HP50 at Southern Manufacturing 2013. The new magnetic filter provides a cost-effective method of applying magnetic filtration techniques to systems operating up to 50 bar pressure.
Micromag HP50 is designed to eliminate coolant and lubrication circulation problems in applications such as machine tools and wash systems. Ferrous particles produced during machining processes such as grinding, milling and drilling are a major cause of poor surface finish, drill burning, filter blockages and tool breakages – all of which increase downtime and reduce profitability.
HP50 features a high-intensity magnetic core which extracts ferrous particles down to sub-micron size, protecting parts from abrasive damage and extending the life of conventional filter systems. With its high-quality stainless steel construction, HP50 can be cleaned in minutes, requires no consumable filters and has zero operating costs.
