Duo demonstrates machining expansion
Two machines were demonstrated live at the Matsuura stand at Southern Manufacturing 2017, the MX-330 PC10 and the Muratec Murata MT100iT2 (pictured).
The new MX-330 PC10, five-axis machine is equipped with 10 pallets and 90 tools. The company anticipates high demand, announcing two machines were sold prior to its official launch in the UK.
The Muratec Murata MT100iT2 automated bar fed lathe with twin turrets features an intelligent servo unloader. The bar fed machine accommodates bar up to 51mm diameter, with maximum length of component of 180mm, weighing 2.5kg. Chuck size is 165mm diameter. The accurate, fast turning centre has two tool turrets with 15 live tools on each. Matsuura is the sole UK agent for Muratec Murata turning centres and lathes, supplying customers in every industry where speed, accuracy and incredible reliability are pre-requisite, says the company.
