Demonstrations highlight CNC machines
Two CNC machine tools from the Matsuura portfolio will be cutting exclusive demonstrations live at Southern Manufacturing 2018.
The MX-520 is an entry-level, single table, five-axis machine and the Muratec Murata MT200 is a multi-tasking, twin spindle turning machine with three turrets and Y axis.
The MX-520 is the natural choice for younger companies making the transition from three axes to five-axis machining. The company claims to make the profitable transition to five-axis seamless.
The MT200 is for machine shops running complex parts and various part types through one machine. An optional three-axis CNC gantry loader provides multitple options for automation. When combined with a bar feeder, the choice of processing part types from bar and billet are endless, says the company. Possessing flexible upper and lower turrets, all tool stations are live.
The company reports a “fit and forget” technology status amongst customers and service engineers due to reliability and performance.
