Cutting technology from Citizen Machinery aids efficiency
Low Frequency Vibration (LFV) technology is a new, universally applicable and highly efficient cutting technology increases productivity by chipping swarf from almost all part geometries from the most varied materials. Swarf is broken up in a controlled way thus eliminating machine stops due to tangles, says Citizen Machinery.
Returning to Southern Manufacturing for the first time since 2008, the company combines two leading manufacturers of CNC automatic lathes. It claims to be the market leader with its Cincom CNC sliding head lathes, up to 38mm in diameter, while the Miyano range of fixed headstock lathes has a bar diameter range up to 64mm and larger billet sizes.
The company has nearly 45 years’ experience in supplying and supporting over 2,500 installed machines in the UK and Ireland and provides a one-stop-shop for bar turning needs from one to 64mm diameter, billets and near shape parts.
