Amphenol connects with industry at Southern Manufacturing 2013
Amphenol used its debut at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2013 to announce the launch of a new web portal aimed at industrial customers, plus a raft of new products.
The new site enables customers to view the combined interconnect solutions and technologies of all INDUSTRIAL@AMPHENOL companies on a single website. Visitors can also use the new website to get a quick overview of company news, exhibition activities as well as details of its comprehensive range of interconnect solutions for industrial applications.
Speaking at the show, Lee Griffiths , Industrial Field Sales Manager for Amphenol Ltd, said, "We are expanding our footprint in the industrial market – Southern Manufacturing was seen as the premier exhibition to launch our new products and technologies. It’s been a really great show and we’ve seen a massive amount of interest in these new products."
One of the new products launched at Southern Manufacturing was a new hermetic connector range, designed for demanding applications such as aerospace, automotive, marine and harsh industrial environments. Applications covered include high-temperature sensors and feed-throughs for pressured environments.
Shown for the first time in the UK were the company’s latest Heavymate F-Series, a modular system designed to be intermateable with other brands of rectangular format connectors. Also on the stand were the latest AT, ATP,RT360, M8 to M12 and M23 to M40 product ranges. The latest release in the Amphenol AT range is the AT-SR01 Series strain relief connectors, featuring specially designed wire cavities designed to protect each individual wire seal. By relieving stress on the rear seal, IP67 integrity is maintained regardless of wire bundle direction, ensuring complete environmental protection in assembly and application.
