Additive manufacturing by Rochling supports inventive design

Plastics and composites company, Röchling Industrial (UK), is pleased to showcase its additive manufacturing capabilities and competences at Southern Manufacturing 2022. Industrial 3D printing enables a new approach to design, producing innovative component and offering new solutions for the design and construction of components.

The company was involved at the early stages with additive layer manufacturing processes with which 3D parts can be produced directly.

Through the use of selective laser sintering, components can be rapidly manufactured for prototypes and low volume production.

Printing technologies available include powder bed fusion – multi jet fusion (MJF), selective laser sintering (SLS) and selective laser melting (SLM). For material extrusion, there is fusion deposition moulding (FDM), Arburg plastic freeforming (APF) and for material jetting, the company offers poly jetting technology.

Materials options include PA12, ABS, PP, PC, ASA, PEEK and aluminium (SLM).

A team of engineers, technicians and specialists are available to assist customers with their additive manufacturing needs.
