The company’s latest Tiny Trio connector developments are based around smaller diameter contacts, yet still with high contact ratings due to the continued use of the company’s contact design, with inbuilt spring ensuring continuous contact even with high vibration. Five contacts, each rated to 1.5A, have been squeezed into the 00 series which is only 6mm in diameter. It is, says the company, suitable for communications and other equipment where very small, yet tough connectors are required for handling signals. Additionally, the company offers 12 contacts in the 0B series which is only 9.5mm diameter, also 1.5A continuous rated.
The waterproof T Series, is based on the B Series connectors, incorporating push-pull latching connection technology, an inner sleeve and additional sealing to protect against water ingress to IP68 level when mated. The 0T Series was the first to be made available, and other larger sizes were shown for the first time.
The third development, the MM Series, is the smallest of the M Series ratchet coupling connectors. The smaller alternatives to standard military connectors (e.g. MIL C38999) have up to four contacts in a ruggedised micro housing.
